In the colloquial language it is often spoken only about England. However, England is only one of the four components of the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom consists of England, Wales and Scotland (which together constitute the UK) and Northern Ireland.

It is also interesting that the United Kingdom stillis governed by a Queen (or King). Thus, the United Kingdom is the largest constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy - measured by population - in Europe.

According to official sources of the European Union the population is comprised of over 80% English and almost 10% of Scots. The remaining 10% are almost all Welsh and Irish. But immigrants from the former colonies, such as the West Indies, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Africa are in the United Kingdom at home as well.

In the cosmopolitan city of London which is still the heart of the financial world, the life pulsating. None of the world’s Celebrities misses to visit the booming metropolis on the Thames with over 12.5 million people in the metropolitan region regularly.

Many of the world's leading scientists are from the United Kingdom, where the industrial revolution has begun. Examples include Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin. Adam Smith, the founder of modern economics, descended from Scotland.

Furthermore, English is the world's most widely spoken language and is an essential skill for everyone. In large parts of the professional world doesn’t exist a chance without a good knowledge of English these days.

We have partner schools on the whole island but are refraining from many schools on the south coast of the United Kingdom because they are overcrowded with students and therefore don’t match the high quality standards we have set.
